About

This site publishes fact checks only after a claim is processed through a controlled pipeline.

What we publish

Each fact check includes the original claim, a verdict, key points, an explanation, an uncertainty section when needed, and a list of sources.

How it works

Claims are added by editors. Sources are collected, verified, and cached. The analysis is produced as a structured output that references only the provided sources.

If sources are weak or conflicting, we clearly label the result as Unverified rather than guessing. If the processing system is unavailable or returns invalid output, the claim remains pending and is retried later.

Our principles

  • Evidence first: every conclusion must be supported by sources.
  • No speculation: we avoid assumptions and predictions.
  • Transparency: readers can inspect the source list and reasoning.
  • Consistency: the same claim reviewed later may change if new evidence appears.
